Program Description:
The RN to BSN program is designed to provide a comprehensive approach to advanced concepts analysis in the nursing field. The program provides students with an opportunity to select coursework in areas that are emerging as necessities for advanced nursing credentials. These areas include informatics, nursing education, research, and business concepts. This program takes an interdisciplinary approach to these paradigms to tie together an advanced undergraduate degree that will prepare the professional nurse for opportunities in nursing education programs, departmental management, case management, research, and other areas of healthcare where nurses have become a critical component of care and/or operation. This program is offered full distance (online) and is especially accommodating to those students who have full-time lives and cannot take part in residential (campus-only) programs.
